A/Prof Jeremy Lewin
Medical Oncologist, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre; Medical Director, Victorian Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Service

A/Prof Jeremy Lewin is a medical oncologist by training, and his areas of expertise include Sarcoma and Genitourinary malignancies. He provides medical leadership for the service which delivers quality care for young people, a statewide professional education program and targeted clinical research aimed at addressing the major health concerns of young people and their families. He holds leadership and strategic positions both locally and nationally, including being the Research and Education lead for sarcoma for the VCCC Alliance, Medical Oncology Sarcoma Lead at Peter Mac. He is also part of the Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine Committee for the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association.

Dr Catherine Mitchell
Anatomical Pathologist , Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

With over 15 years' experience in reporting surgical specimens, Dr Mitchell is particularly interested in tumour pathology and has published 33 scholarly works. Her areas of interest including soft tissue, genitourinary and gastrointestinal pathology.

Prof Paul James
Clinical Geneticist, the Royal Melbourne Hospital; Familial Cancer Research Lead at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Prof James is the Director of the Parkville Familial Cancer Centre at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and Peter Mac, and Head of Clinical Genetics in the Department of Genomic Medicine (RMH). He leads a program of research involving familial disorders, with a focus on translational studies that examine integration of genomic findings into clinical practice.

Dr Stephen Luen
Medical Oncologist, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Dr Luen is a medical oncologist and translational researcher at Peter Mac with specialist interests in breast cancer, sarcoma, and phase 1 trials. He completed his PhD under the primary supervision of Prof Sherene Loi in 2021 investigating genomic landscapes and drivers in hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancers, and continues to work closely with the lab as a postdoctoral scientist. His current research interests include the study of genomic and immune biomarkers in breast cancer, with a particular focus on investigating biological characteristics and developing clinical trials for high-risk subgroups of patients. Additionally, he has research interests in Precision Oncology approaches, and the clinical development of novel therapeutic agents through early-phase clinical trials.
