Dr Alesha Thai takes us through her recent exploration of the immune microenvironments in clinical subsets of cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas.

Dr Thai is a head and neck medical oncologist and clinician scientist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Austin Health. Her research investigates the interplay between the tumor microenvironment, the host immune system, and viral causes of head and neck cancer. Dr Thai places a strong emphasis on improving disparities in patient care, especially for patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
