Early diagnosis of sarcoma is absolutely critical for improving patient outcomes. This webinar provides GPs, nurses and allied health professionals with a comprehensive understanding of sarcoma with a focus on signs and symptoms, diagnostic challenges, data linkage, early detection and specialist referral.

Several topics are covered across three expert presentations including the signs and symptoms of sarcoma, appropriate diagnostic tests, imaging techniques and management approaches, and strategies to overcome diagnostic challenges. The webinar emphasizes the crucial role of data linkage in clinical registries and GP data in identifying delayed sarcoma diagnosis.

A consumer-led session is included looking at the importance of early diagnosis and referral to specialist sarcoma services, and challenges faced within the diagnostic process for patients.

Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA) partners with VCCC Alliance in July to present a special series of webinars for Sarcoma Awareness Month.
