VCCC Alliance Grand Round Breast Cancer
with Dr Vanessa Wong
13 July 2022
The WEHI breast cancer registry and registry trials portfolio was established in 2015 with TABITHA, a prospective and comprehensive metastatic HER2+ breast cancer registry. In 2022, WEHI now has five breast cancer registry and registry trials, with over 800 patients enrolled and engaged with 35 Australian sites, including tertiary, regional and private hospitals.
Join Dr Vanessa Wong for a presentation that focuses on WEHI's breast cancer registry portfolio, highlighting the unique ways registry data can be collected and used, including collecting data alongside a medicine access program as well as the pragmatic approach of designing a 'registry-based trial'.

VCCC Alliance Grand Rounds
The VCCC Alliance Research and Education (R&E Lead) Breast Cancer program has developed a learning environment where researchers and clinical care teams can share information to improve cancer outcomes.
The VCCC Alliance Breast Cancer Grand Round aims to provide a shared view of what is happening in the development of breast cancer care and is helping to stimulate discussion and collaborations among experienced and novice researchers and clinicians.
The VCCC Alliance Breast Cancer Grand Round is targeted at a clinical audience and features open discussion about real cases and patients. While these cases are de-identified, the imagery, content and discussion can be graphic. It is not appropriate for consumer participants.
