Many individuals with cancer bring pre-existing mental health concerns to their cancer treatment. Working with cancer patients who have pre-existing mental health concerns can be complex. It's important for clinicans to understand the bio-psycho-social issues that patients bring with them to their cancer treatment, and how to approach them in an effective manner.
